With the seismic (online) tremors still being felt following the release of ‘Wakanda’ by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, here at Axtone towers we are pleased to welcome back our Russian friends Hard Rock Sofa to the label. 'Rasputin' is another tailor made track for global dance floors, with industrial beats combined with a turbo charged break and subtle sample, this track has all the hallmarks of what we’ve come to know and love from this duo.

Since their inception the boys have had a relentless release schedule working with highly respected labels such as Size Records, Fly Eye, Wall, Spinnin' Records, Mixmash Records, Cr2 Records, Doorn Records and Ministry Of Sound, amongst many others. Most recently Hard Rock Sofa remixed David Guetta's track 'Just One Last Time', hitting number one in the main Beatport chart, swiftly followed by their rework of Alesso’s ‘Years’ for Refune.

The title takes inspiration from one of Russia’s most infamous historical figures, but it’s fair to say Hard Rock Sofa have somewhat of a different agenda to the ‘black monk’, one involving spreading their unique take on house music worldwide.

If previous releases on Axtone are anything to go by, namely ‘Blow Up’, ‘Quasar’ and most recently ‘Here We Go’ (vs Swanky Tunes), ‘Rasputin’ is poised to soundtrack Miami and many nights to come.
